Development Continuation of Gundam

Peter Clark

The inner frame has been detailed with metallic paint, and topcoated with a matte topcoat, whereas the armour has a semi-gloss topcoat. The decals have been added as well as decals from other kits. Areas of interest such as the small radar on the chest or the sight on the rifle have been hand-painted. Smoke has been added to the barrel of the gun for a dynamic real-life feel. The panel lining is thinner than normal, adding to the detail. The name of the unit (GP01) was painstakingly sheared from the model's runners, and attached to the shield, so rather than just being a decal, they are raised slightly. Lastly, the model was set on a desert-type terrain diorama inspired by the setting of the start of Gundam 0083 made of EPS, Mod Podge, and toilet paper, with rocks added for detail in texture and color.

The numerous bullet marks on the body surface are a bit mismatched with the return of The Red Comet, so it would be better to balance the theme of the work with the expression.
The use of water and other elements is well done, and the accent is good, so it should be used well as a showpiece in the work.
