"This diorama is inspired by the battle scene between the Kshatriya and the team of Jegans during the Gundam Unicorn anime, and is a re-imagining of what if the battle had continued into the debris cluster mentioned during the episode. Being the first Gundam series that I have watched, the Kshatriya was the mobile suit that caught my attention with its irony of sheer size and bulk while using small funnels to brutally dispatch its enemies. It continues to remain as my favourite mobile suit from the franchise and I hope I have done it justice with this diorama.
I have used 1/144 scale HG models of the Kshatriya, Stark Jegan and Jegan, as well as parts of the Sinanju and Full Armour Unicorn Gundam in this diorama. Scribing and pla-plates have been added to increase the detail of the mobile suits.
The base is built using a wooden frame and air dry clay, as well as a pattern of sequin stones glued onto the surface of the base. The asteroids spread across the diorama are also made with air dry clay, while being suspended in the air using acrylic rods. At the front of the frame, there is a piece of aluminum with the title of the diorama ""PLE-12"" etched on its surface, referencing the code name of Marida Cruz, the pilot of the Kshatriya.
