I customized the HGUC delta plus with a Roman/Spartan warrior theme. Modifications include adding shoulder armour from HGIBO Barbatos, scratch-built parts, cape/cowl, shield from the HGAC Leo, gladius sword, and extension of the front skirt armour using pla-plate. Various details including the head crest were added using random greebles from small toys as well as carved custom panel lines. Finally, a small backpack was added using HG builder parts. Overall, the paint theme was chosen to be rustic, with browns and beige colours, with the addition of a clay-red shield and cape for contrast. The model was spray painted with post-shading/highlighting techniques using lacquer paint, and AEUG waterslide decals were applied. The entire model was lightly weathered using acrylic washes.
The addition of detailing also blends naturally with the overall look of the unit.
To add more, the base is also boarded up and simple, so it would be better to build it to fit in with the MS.
