First Encounter

with this model I first constructed the inner-frame and applied a wash over it. With the armour pieces I applied Primer, followed by pre-shading, then finally applying the paint in a thin layer to show the pre-shade. I clear coated it and applied weathering with dry brush and real touch markers and added decals. A matte coat was applied to finish. The diorama was created using a wood base with Styrofoam and plaster sheet with a layer of dirt and small rocks. the Pine trees were made by hand using some dowel, wire and static grass.
